What is Second Life?
Second Life is a 3-D virtual world entirely built and owned by its residents. Since opening to the public in 2003, it has grown explosively to more than 2 million resident-individuals and companies from around the globe. The SL marketplace currently supports millions of real US dollars in monthly transactions. This commerce is handled with the in-world currency, the Linden dollar, which can be converted back to US dollars.
Download the Second Life interface at www.secondlife.com. Start with a free subscription that allows you to look around. Stay some time at orientation island and help island. Then explore the hot spots from here. This site is dedicated to showing you the quickest way to the best places, information, scripts and more.
